Why cloud

What you stop paying for

No on-site server

Nothing to buy, power, cool, patch or replace at end of life. The call processing lives in the cloud; your building just needs phones and a decent circuit.

Location stops mattering

Remote employees, out-of-country staff and multiple branches all sit inside the same extension plan. Transfers and intercom work the same everywhere.

Lines that flex

Add a line for a seasonal hire, re-purpose it when they leave. You are not renegotiating a contract to change a phone count.

Phones are only as reliable as the switch feeding them.
The part other vendors skip

The phones are the easy half

Most bad VoIP experiences are not a phone problem. They are a network problem — an overloaded consumer router, a switch with no PoE budget, a circuit with 3 Mbps of upload shared with the security cameras.

Because we install the network too, we size it correctly the first time and we do not get to blame anybody else when a call drops.

  • Bandwidth and latency tested before we quote
  • PoE switch sized for every phone, camera and reader on the plan
  • Voice traffic prioritized so a big upload cannot break a call
  • One number to call when something is wrong

Phone system FAQ

Common questions

How long does a cutover take?

For a typical eight to fifteen phone office, installation and programming is a single day. Number porting is scheduled separately and usually completes within one to two weeks of the request — your old lines keep ringing right up until the moment the port lands.

What happens to my phones if the internet goes down?

Calls fail over to mobile numbers you nominate, so the business keeps answering. We set the failover rules up during installation rather than leaving it as something you discover during an outage.

Do I need special phones?

You need IP phones and, in most cases, a PoE switch to power them. We supply both. If you already have compatible SIP handsets, we will reuse them rather than sell you new ones.

Can staff work from home or from overseas?

Yes. An extension is not tied to a desk. Remote staff and out-of-country employees use the same extension number on a desk phone, a computer, or a mobile app, and transfers between them work normally.

Can you connect multiple locations?

Yes. Extension-to-extension dialing works across sites as if everyone were in one building, and a call coming in on the main number can ring in whichever location you choose.
